By train
High speed train facilities provide a fast and convenient way to come to Montpellier from neighbouring European capitals (Paris, London, Brussels, Geneva, …). The high speed TGV train connects Paris to Montpellier in 3h30min (4h from CDG airport). Discounts on rail travel are available by requesting a voucher when making registration. Montpellier railway station is located downtown, next to the famous “Place de la Comédie”. With its two tramway lines, the city offers a smooth way to move in Montpellier. In addition, numerous bus lines allow connecting any points of the city.
